Day 2: Monday Night Football and NaNoWriMo

The Saints just won in an awesome MNF game. Love it when it's a close game.

Oh, word count? Yes, be patient, I have that for you too. I'm winding down for the night and I'm at 5,082 words.

What? No, that's not a typo, I broke the 5k mark. In TWO DAYS! BOO YA!

The story is cruising along and there's already been a car chase, a hiring of an assassin/bounty hunter, and some pissed off Banditos. Moral is high and I'm pretty stoked about the novel so far.

Plot? Yes! Maybe.. no?

Turns out this novel is the second in the series to my first novel (still uncompleted). Only the main characters name has changed to Scorn, mainly because I don't remember what it was the first time around.

The novel begans with Scorn having made it back to the States and living a quiet, somewhat paranoid life. You would be too if you were responsible for the disappearance of $45 million (street value) worth of pure cocaine and the vanishing of a suitcase containing $2.5 million.

The American government has been watching him and a Costa Rican druglord has been searching for him. This novel picks up a few years later, and it feels like something is about to happen.

Of course it is. Otherwise there would be nothing to write about!

Day 1: 2259 words, 47,741 to go
4.5% done.

Hello 2009 NaNoWriMo

Why hello, is it November again?

I have 800 words so far, with no plot, a charecter named 'Scorn' and a direction that resembles topwise.

Best luck to all,

Wayne

Day 18: Closer

Word Count: 27531

Time to watch the avs game.

Day 18: Meh

Word count: 26773

Thank you write or die! I read that the word 'meh' was being admitted to some dictionary this week. Pretty big deal for a word made up on the simpsons. Sums up right now pretty good though, meh. Can't write.

It's much easier when my charecter was off by himself in the jungle, now there's all these people around and it's just too complicated. Something needs to happen...

Day 17: Halfway point!

Word count: 25,478

Today was my first 5k word day!! I'm feeling more optimistic now about reaching 30k by Wednesday night. My story has gotten incredibly boring, and something exciting needs to happen, quick. I'm thinking someone gets thrown overboard, or maybe another explosion. We'll see.

I'm off to shout out in the forums, halfway and first 5k!

Day 17: I should be halfway...

The nanowrimo challenge is 30k by Wednesday night.

My word count: 20422

I have 9578 words to go. In three days. No prob bob.

Then again, I think it's time for some Write or Die!
